Frontburn: Remember that old saying Rome wasnt built in a day? When it comes to building a town in Animal Crossing New Leaf, that statement couldnt ring truer. As a first time AC mayor, I didnt know what to expect when I got off the train in my new town. Where do I live? How do I earn bells? What the heck are bells anyway? Not to worry noobs, I have a few tips for those just starting out.

EpicDome: Animal Crossing New Leaf Review (3DS)

Myron de Vrede @EpicDome: "Animal Crossing New Leaf is one freakishly dull game to review, that is. See, the game itself is one charming, marvelous little time waster with a ton of stuff to do, see and explore but the act of actually talking about what you can do comes off as terribly boring. Just the other day I was at a surprise party hosted for a good friend of mine, and one of the attending gamers - heck, there where no non-gamers present - tried to explain his new-found fascination for this brand new Animal Crossing for the 3DS. It took only a couple of sentences before someone loudly interrupted the poor sob, bellowing an uproarious Boooooooring! before slumping back in his chair."

Animal Crossing New Leaf Review - Gametactics

Say what you want about Animal Crossing, but my character can carry a shark in her pocket, and thats pretty hardcore. The charm of Animal Crossing New Leaf is one that can be enjoyed by children and adults alike. The cross-generational appeal is not the only part of the game that knocks down barriers. Animal Crossing games appeal to people who are long time gamers with huge collections and also to people who spend far less time holding controllers. The format welcomes those new to games, but is also challenging enough for people who are veteran gamers. How does the game manage to do all that with so little? It focuses on simple joy. Find out more when Gametactics reviewer Celeste Dobropolski reviews Animal Crossing: New Leaf for the 3DS.

Animal Crossing delivers once again on this new 3DS iteration of the game. The game remains the same with a couple added features. The biggest addition to the game this time is that you are the mayor. Tortimer has left the town and you arrive and are assumed to be the new mayor of your town. Do you have what it takes to improve the town and make it the best there is?

Animal Crossing New Leaf: The Search For More Bells

Added: 29.06.2013 13:17 | 14 views | 0 comments

Gi - With the release of Animal Crossing New Leaf for the Nintendo 3DS on June 9 we are once again back to hopelessly attempting to understand Animalese, catching bugs, and paying off a never ending pile of debt (all much like in real life). Animal Crossing New Leaf provides a fun and user friendly experience involving new concepts as well as improving upon the old. The game continues the fine life sim tradition of the series by allowing players to entertain hobbies, see to the daily upkeep of the town (all while on a beautifully programmed real world clock, which takes into account time of day as well as season), and adds a few new twists as well.
